I worked with Regina at UCI BioSci Sci, and in the year and a half since she began, I witnessed her completely update the content and layout of the School website and social media accounts. I expressed my own interest to Regina in learning more about marketing and digital content, and she continually proved to be a great mentor and friend as she taught me about WordPress, Canva, and marketing in our digital world. 

She guided me on best practices for email layouts and event announcements, and took the time to forward me particularly engaging emails from various organizations so that we could discuss not only what works, but why the content and graphics are engaging; this way, I could recreate that type of visual appeal in my own work. Regina also has showed me how to use WordPress at length, to the point where I can effectively use more complicated features and coding when building event landing and registration pages.

Most importantly, I value Regina’s mentorship because her encouragement, guidance, and overall optimistic attitude help me to stay positive when I’m feeling overwhelmed or defeated.
